Police look for Delta County runaway

DELTA COUNTY, MI— The Delta County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding a runaway teen girl.

Marissa Meshigaud, 15, was last seen in the Soo Hill area on Monday night. She has a history of running away and has tried to get downstate via taxi in the past. Marissa has been known to head to the Hannahville area and has mentioned trying to go to Minnesota.

Marissa is 5’7” and 230 pounds. Her black hair was bleached into a red/orange color and has a bowl-style cut.

Anyone with information regarding Marissa’s whereabouts is asked to call the Delta County Sheriff’s Office at 906-786-3633, extension-355 or Central Dispatch at 906-786-5911.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
