Woman with dementia reported missing from Eben Junction

EBEN JUNCTION, MI— Michigan State Police are searching for a woman reported missing from the Eben Junction area of Alger County.

Troopers were notified late Wednesday evening when 77-year-old Linda Golden had not been heard from or seen. Golden is 5’7” and has brown hair. She suffers from dementia.

Golden’s vehicle—a gold, 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee with several rust spots—is also missing. It was last seen at her Eben Junction residence around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Anyone who sees Golden or her vehicle is asked to call the Negaunee Post at 906-475-9922 or dial 911.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
