Teen runaway located

CHRISTMAS, MI— A runaway girl from the Christmas area has been found.

Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post say 17-year-old Jozelyn Warmack left her residence in a vehicle sometime Friday night. The vehicle and Warmack were seen Saturday morning at the Bruce Crossing Co-op.

She was spotted at a café, then seen getting into the passenger seat of a vehicle heading south on US-45.

Around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, troopers said Warmack had been located and was in Michigan State Police custody.

No other details will be released.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
