BREITUNG TOWNSHIP, MI— Police have executed a search warrant in Dickinson County on land where Nancy Renkas of Florence, Wisconsin was last seen eight years ago.

The search was conducted in relation to Renkas’ July 2016 disappearance and presumed death. Investigators believe the search area is the last known location where Renkas was seen alive.

No other information is being released at this time. The case remains under investigation.

Anyone with knowledge of what happened to Nancy Renkas is encouraged to contact Det./Lt. Brian Polzien with the Dickinson County Sheriff's Office.
