Delta County YMCA to benefit from UPHS-Marquette donation

MARQUETTE, MI-- UPHS-Marquette has donated $10,000 to the Northern Lights YMCA in Delta County.

The money will be used to deliver financial assistance to individuals, fund swim lessons for youth and other youth-targeted programs, and help finance the Fall Family Festival. YMCA Fund Development Director Caron Salo says last year’s donation from UPHS provided financial assistance to more than 900 people.

The hospital and YMCA will host the 6^th Fall Family Festival on October 27. More than 500 families attended the 2016 event free of charge.
