PHF providing emergency services grants

HANCOCK, MI— The Portage Health Foundation has issued a request for proposals for its Volunteer Emergency Services Grant.

The $50,000 grant opportunity provides funding to volunteer emergency services in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties.

A maximum of $5,000 per RFP will be granted. The recipient must pay 50 percent of the costs and the department must be registered with the State Fire Marshal’s office.
