MARQUETTE, MI— The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program has returned to Marquette County for the 2026 tax season.

The United Way of Marquette County says the IRS-supported program provides free, confidential tax preparation for qualifying individuals and families. It’s designed to make tax filing accessible, accurate, and stress-free.

Services will be available at Peter White Public Library in Marquette, the 906 Community Church Café in Sawyer, and the Munising Schools Public Library. Appointments can be made in Marquette and Sawyer by calling 906-360-2205, and in Munising by calling 906-387-2125.
