ISHPEMING, MI-- A sinkhole in Ishpeming is rerouting traffic.
The hole forced the closure of East Division Street Tuesday night. It will remain closed until repairs are made, which could take several days.
The closure impacts East Division Street from Jasper to Seventh Street. A detour is in place utilizing Fourth Street, Cleveland Avenue and Seventh Street. East Division will remain open between Fourth Street and Jasper Street to accommodate local traffic only.
