MARQUETTE, MI-- Marquette’s winter parking ban goes into effect in less than a week.
Starting Sunday, November 1, vehicle owners are required to find off-street parking between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. The fine for violating the ban is $50.
The ban will remain in effect until April 1, 2016. City Police say residents should find alternate parking spots before it starts.
