National Park Service holding Open Comment period for Isle Royale ferry rates

(Undated) - Isle Royale National Park is holding an Open Comment period on proposed fare changes for the Ranger III.

Ranger III is the National Park Service's ferry to-and-from Isle Royale.

Proposed changes include One-Way Adult fares going from $70 to $80 and One-Way Child fares going from $35 to $40. Infants would continue to ride for free. The fares have not changed since 2018.

Park managers are seeking feedback from the public on the proposed new passenger and freight fares before a final decision is made. The comment period ends on Friday.

Any changes would take effect for the 2023 sailing season.
