Dog off-leash area permits now available in Marquette

Tourist Park off-leash area

MARQUETTE, MI— The Marquette City Clerk’s office now has Tourist Park Off-Leash Area permits for purchase.

The off-leash area opens for the season on November 1 and runs through April 30. Dog owners must have a current dog license in order to purchase an off-leash area permit.

Licenses and permits will be unavailable for purchase at the City Clerk’s office from October 26 through November 3, as the office prepares for the November general election. They’ll be available as usual beginning Wednesday, November 4.

Dog licenses will still be available to purchase at the Marquette County Treasurer’s office and some local vet offices.
