Marquette, MI – NMU has announced the death of an incoming freshman. Joel Wisuri of Ishpeming died in an accident last Friday. He had just completed the Commercial Driver’s License training in preparation for entering NMU’s line tech program this fall semester.
NMU plans to honor Wisuri in the fall semester by lowering the NMU flag at a date of his family’s choosing. The campus will be notified prior to the event’s date.
