MARQUETTE, MI-- U.S. Representative Dan Benishek will be in Marquette Wednesday, visiting the city’s new Food Co-p. The Co-op recently completed a move to Washington Street and a major expansion.
Benishek will tour the Co-op. He’s expected to talk about the creation of 30 new jobs and commend its 30-year commitment to providing locally grown, organic food to the community.
The congressman is scheduled to be at the Co-op from 2:45 to 3:15 this afternoon.
The new Marquette Food Co-op is at 502 West Washington Street.
