MARQUETTE, MI-- State Representative John Kivela is holding an event to kick off his third and final campaign for a seat in the 109th House District.
Kivela will greet constituents and answer questions at the event, which takes place Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Marquette Township Hall.
It’s the final time the Democratic Representative can run for the seat, which he took over from Steve Lindberg in 2013.
Kivela also served for four years as mayor of Marquette.
