Governor stumping in the U.P. for candidates

ESCANABA, MI-- Governor Rick Snyder will be in the Upper Peninsula Monday, campaigning for Republican candidates.

At noon the governor will give remarks at a lunch at the Best Western Pioneer Inn in Escanaba in support of 108^thHouse District candidate Beau LaFave. They’ll be joined by Senator Tom Casperson and Representative Ed McBroom.

At 1:30 p.m. the governor will talk about energy reform in the U.P. at Engineered Machine Products in Escanaba. Jack Bergman, the Republican candidate for Michigan’s 1^st Congressional District, will attend the event.
