Trump holds downstate rally over the weekend

DETROIT, MI (MPRN)— Former President Donald Trump stumped for his preferred slate of state candidates – and repeatedly blasted the Biden Administration – at a rally in downstate Washington Township on Saturday.

He also remained coy about whether he would again be a candidate for president.

Trump told a crowd of thousands at the rally that he safeguarded U.S. borders, morals and manufacturing, while he blamed Biden for everything from high gasoline prices to the war in Ukraine. He also continually repeated his debunked claim of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

And Trump again teased the possibility of another bid for the White House.

“If I do make you happy… if I do make you happy… would anybody here like to see me run?”

Candidates whom Trump endorsed told the crowd the former president is still the leader of the Republican party. One said the “little MAGA warriors” are ready to do battle on his behalf.
