Karl Bohnak running for 109th District seat

MARQUETTE, MI— Karl Bohnak has thrown his hat into the ring for the 109th state House District.

The longtime meteorologist is running as a Republican. He calls himself a moderate.

Bohnak will join Burt Mason and Melody Wagner in seeking the GOP nomination during the August 6th primary.

He’s trying to unseat incumbent Democratic Representative Jenn Hill. She will face Randy Girard and Margaret Brumm in the primary.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
