Rep. Bergman joins DOGE

WASHINGTON, D.C.— U.S. Representative Jack Bergman has joined the House Department of Government Efficiency—or DOGE—Caucus, which aims to cut waste, fraud, and abuse within the government.

The Caucus will work hand-in-hand with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, advancing their efforts through Congress once President Trump is sworn in on January 20th.

Last year, Bergman was appointed by Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington to serve as the House Budget Committee Oversight Chairman.

He says Americans are fed up with Washington’s “gluttonous spending addiction.”

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
