Chocolay Police ask for help in hit and run case

HARVEY, MI--   The Chocolay Township Police Department is looking for a driver in a hit-and-run incident.

It happened January 21 around 5:45 a.m. at the Holiday Gas Station in Harvey. Officers say a tan SUV backed into a parked vehicle and damaged it. The SUV left the parking lot and headed toward McDonald’s.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Chocolay Township Police at 249-4040. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
