MARQUETTE, MI-- It’s Election Day today.
Among the few races on Upper Peninsula ballots, voters in the 109th House District will choose a replacement for the late Representative John Kivela. Democrat Sara Cambensy, Republican Rich Rossway and Green Party candidate Wade Roberts are vying for that spot.
And voters in Marquette’s Precinct 4 are being directed to use the eastern entrance to the city’s Municipal Service Center. Due to construction, temporary traffic lights are present, and it will be quickest and simplest to use the lakeside entrance.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., local time.
