Vaccination card lamination available at NMU library

MARQUETTE, MI--   Northern Michigan University’s Olson Library is laminating COVID-19 vaccination cards for free.

The service has been available to students and employees since April. The library is now extending it to the public through funding from the NMU Foundation.

Officials say lamination will protect the card from spills, tears and stains. Since it is unknown how the vaccination cards will be used in the future, including whether booster shots will be needed, librarians will make a copy of the original card and laminate that.

The service is offered Monday through Friday during Olson Library’s open hours. Parking is available in Lot 28, next to Harden and Jamrich Halls.
