This week on The Shuffle, we're talkin' Tiny Desks!
It’s the 10th anniversary of the Tiny Desk Contest, NPR Music’s annual search for the best undiscovered musicians. Since it began in 2014, more than 40,000 musicians from across the country have submitted their videos in hopes of being chosen as the winner. This year, we’ve got some local entries from the Upper Peninsula. Tune in for conversations with Chelsea Monaghan of Sea Hounds, Hannah Rundman, Jenn Copeman, and the Seth Brown Duo (and hear some of their music, too).
The Grand Prize Winner will be publicly announced on or about May 9, 2024. NPR shall attempt to notify the potential Grand Prize Winner on or about May 2, 2024.
