DELTA COUNTY, MI— UPPCO is closing one of its launch facilities on the Boney Falls reservoir June 6th to make facility improvements.
The launch on Dam #4 will be off-limits to the public on Monday. Crews will be assembling a construction barge and staging materials necessary for improvements to be made this summer.
Access to the campground near Dam #4 will remain open, but will be delayed at times.
UPPCO officials are asking recreationists to use the boat launch near Dam #3 on the Escanaba River on Monday to ensure their safety.
