IOHRA seeks public input on recreation plan

MARQUETTE, MI— The Iron Ore Heritage Recreation Authority needs input for its five-year recreation plan.

Authority chair Don Britton says in order to receive state recreation grants for trail projects, those projects need to be called out in the five-year recreation plan. He says it’s important the community provides input now so local funding can be leveraged with state funding to make some of those projects happen.

A survey can be found at www.ironoreheritage.com. It will be available through September 30.
