Crowdfunding Campaign Launched for “Lacombe Field for All” in Negaunee

NEGAUNEE, MI— The City of Negaunee and Negaunee Little League hope to make Lacombe Field universally accessible through a crowdfunding campaign.

If the Patronicity campaign raises $50,000 by June 3, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation will match those funds through its Public Spaces Community Places program.

The project would allow spectators and visitors to have universal access to the field, stands, concessions, bathrooms, and dugouts, making the field inclusive to all.

More information is at www.patronicity.com/lacombe.
