Ishpeming, MI - The DNR's boating access site at Lake Angeline has reopened. A DNR work crew spread gravel yesterday (Thurs) to create an alternate entry road to the site… along an old U-S Steel easement. Meanwhile, negotiations with an adjacent property owner on a permanent easement continue. The public is urged to respect private property surrounding the access site and to keep the area clean. Officials say access is an important feature of public recreation that is often only afforded through the willingness of landowners who enter into agreements with the DNR.
