LAC LA BELLE, MI— The Keweenaw’s Mount Bohemia has once again been nominated one of the best ski resorts in North America.
USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards is offering 20 nominees for best resort across the U.S. and Canada. They were selected because they offer mountains with serious snowfall, varied terrain, lots of lift access, and long runs.
Mount Bohemia in Lac La Belle averages 273 inches of snow each season and has the most vertical drop of any ski area in the Midwest, at 900 feet.
Readers can vote once per day for their favorite resort until November 11 at noon. The 10 winners will be announced on November 20.
