NEGAUNEE, MI— The Iron Ore Heritage Trail is honoring Celebrate Trails Day by holding a stewardship event on Saturday.
The national Rails to Trails Conservancy is calling on residents to get outside on trails this spring and celebrate how they positively impact people’s lives. Hundreds of events will be held across the country to inspire more people to make trails, walking, and biking part of their everyday lives.
Officials say although this is a later thaw for spring, the IOHT will promote a day of trail empowerment by encouraging community connectivity and trail stewardship.
