(Marquette, MI) – The Marquette Area Public Schools district is thanking the Kaufman Foundation for their generous donation to "Coats for Kids," which is a campaign to outfit school-aged children with the basic winter necessities.
With the donation Marquette schools was able to purchase 47 coats, 46 snow pants, 55 pairs of boots, 62 hats and 82 sets of mittens and gloves.
MAPS is also thanking Costco for a generous donation and as well as discounts that helped to support “Coats for Kids.”
