Pigs square off against Heat in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   Police officers and firefighters will be on ice tonight, battling to raise money for the Pigs-n-Heat Fire Relief Fund.

It’s the 33rd year for the hockey game, whose proceeds are used to support Marquette County families displaced by fire.  Officials say over the years nearly $375,000 has been given to fire victims.

The Pigs-n-Heat Charity Hockey Game takes place Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Marquette’s Lakeview Arena.  An awards ceremony will be held around 6:30 p.m.
