Voting to help Lakeview Arena win Kraft Hockeyville contest now open

MARQUETTE, MI--   The City of Marquette’s Lakeview Arena is one of four finalists vying to win the Kraft 

Hockeyville USA contest.

Kraft is looking for towns that are most passionate about local hockey.  The company will reward the rink that gets the most votes with $125,000 in arena upgrades and an opportunity to host an NHL preseason game.

You can vote up to 50 times a day online at www.krafthockeyville.com or by texting LAKEVIEW to 35350.

Voting ends Thursday at midnight.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
