NMU grad now a member of the Packers

MARQUETTE, MI--   A former Northern Michigan University football player has been signed by the Green Bay Packers.

Kyle Steuck, a Green Bay native, was added to the Packers’ 90-man roster after he participated in a rookie mini-camp May 5-7.

In 2015 Steuck was named to the all-GLIAC second team after starting every game under center.  He was a two-year captain who played in all 44 of the Wildcats’ games over the past four seasons.

Steuck is the second NMU Wildcat to make an NFL team’s roster.  Fellow 2016 graduate Marcus Tucker is currently a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
