Ski marathon receives check from UPHS

MARQUETTE, MI--   Upper Peninsula Health System has donated $10,000 to the 2017 Noquemanon Ski Marathon.  

Race Director Jason Rolling accepted the check at UPHS Marquette Thursday. 

UPHS Regional Director of Marketing and Business Development, Victor Harrington, said “promoting healthy living and activity in our community is incredibly important for us. UP Health System strives every day toward our mission of making communities healthier, and we applaud the great work of the Noquemanon Ski Marathon, who we are happy to support.”   

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
