MARQUETTE, MI— Athletic directors from NMU, Michigan Tech and Lake Superior State University are gathering in Marquette Tuesday evening to raise funds for the Great Lakes Sports Commission.
The happy hour at the Ore Dock Brewing Company will feature a silent auction, food and friendly banter.
The GLSC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Michigan as a premier destination for recreation, sports and tourism. The goal is to build a sustainable funding source for its revolving loan fund that directly supports Northern Michigan’s tourism and sports industries.
The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ore Dock.
