MARQUETTE, MI— Michigan’s largest mass-start, point-to-point mountain bike event makes its way across Marquette County this weekend.
The Ore to Shore Mountain Bike Epic offers races for individuals to families in a variety of formats, from the 48-mile Hard Rock to the 50-yard Littlest Rock.
The Hard Rock starts in Negaunee, goes through downtown Ishpeming, then hits the trails through woods and past water to the finish line in Marquette. Hundreds are expected to participate.
Pre-race activities will be held Friday. The events take place Saturday, August 10.
