Noquemanon officials looking for people to help out in the races

MARQUETTE, MI— Volunteers are needed for this year’s Noquemanon ski marathon.

The event celebrates its 27^th anniversary January 24^th and 25^th and crews are readying the trails.

Race coordinator Nicole Dewald Swenson says if it weren't for the hundreds of volunteers, this nationally recognized race could not happen. Volunteer opportunities range widely from out on the trails and at the start lines to the finish line, road crossings, and in the Superior Dome.

Noquemanon officials are using the Marquette County United Way’s “Yoopers United” platform to sign people up for shifts.
