Jacobetti Home for Vets to receive donation from motorcycle group

MARQUETTE, MI— The D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans is getting a $7,500 donation Saturday from the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association 35-1 out of Menominee.

The annual D.J. Jacobetti Ride has raised $48,000 for the home since 2014.

Club members are hosting a breakfast buffet provided by the Sons of the Legion and a 50/50 raffle Saturday morning. They’ll depart the Little Lake American Legion Post by police escort at noon and travel directly to the veterans home for the check presentation at 1 p.m.

All proceeds from the ride and 50/50 raffle will be donated to the home.
