HOUGHTON, MI— A bear is walking through Houghton.
City officials have received several calls that the animal is within the city limits. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is aware of the situation, as well.
The DNR is asking residents to take down any bird feeders they have for about a week. The bear will move on if those food sources are removed.
Anyone with concerns should contact the DNR.
