ASSOCIATED PRESS - Law enforcement agencies in Michigan are putting extra officers on the road as part of a statewide drunken driving crackdown that includes the Fourth of July holiday.
The "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" effort begins Monday night and runs through Sunday.
The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning says the crackdown includes law enforcement officers from 156 agencies and is paid for by federal funds.
Michigan State Police are involved in the effort.
The crackdown also involves agencies in Chippewa, Delta, Houghton and Marquette counties.
