DELTA COUNTY, MI-- The Delta County Sheriff’s Office rescued a lost skier over the weekend.
Officials say Saturday a woman got turned around on the Rapid River Ski Trail while cross-country skiing. Central Dispatch was able to get coordinates from the woman’s cell phone, and she was located by the Sheriff’s Office Snowmobile Patrol around 6:15 p.m.
Officials say the woman was cold, but otherwise unharmed.
