MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin officials have completed an update to the state's emergency response plan.
The plan was presented to Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch on Thursday during a news conference at Truax Field in Madison.
However, officials did not offer a copy of the plan to reporters, telling them to file open records requests to obtain one. The Associated Press filed such a request Thursday following the news conference.
A news release officials handed out noted the plan contains updated sections dealing with how to handle cyber attacks, mass evacuations, nuclear terrorist attacks, disaster volunteers and hazardous materials.
