MARQUETTE, MI-- The Marquette City Fire Department discovered a body inside a burning house on Ohio Street Sunday morning.
Firefighters were called around 7:30 a.m. to 435 East Ohio. While suppressing the flames they found a deceased man identified as John Sonaglia, 59, inside the residence.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
The fire department and Marquette City Police were assisted by the Marquette Township Fire Department and Michigan State Police.
