Residents asked to take IOHRA survey for five-year plan

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Iron Ore Heritage Recreation Authority needs public input on its five-year recreation plan.

Authority Administrator Carol Fulsher says she and the Board want to know what residents’ preferences are for building, managing, and maintaining a better trail. Information gathered from the survey will help set the capital improvement plan for the trail from 2018 to 2023.

A variety of methods are available to submit comments. Visit ironoreheritage.com and look for the Survey Monkey website connection; go directly to the survey link here; find a printed copy at the senior centers in Ishpeming, Negaunee, and Marquette or the township halls in Chocolay, Marquette, Negaunee, Tilden and Republic townships; or attend a public hearing at 4:30 p.m. on October 25 at the Country Inn and Suites in Marquette.
