MARQUETTE, MI--   Officials continue to search for missing Skandia resident John Rowland.

The 36-year-old was last seen in the early morning hours of Friday, February 23 in Marquette. A maroon van he was driving was found that night on Forestville Road. Marquette County Sheriff’s deputies say they received a tip indicating the van was stuck on the road as early as 11:30 a.m.

Marquette County Search and Rescue scoured the Forestville area Thursday morning and afternoon. The Michigan State Police is expected to assist with a helicopter search Friday.

Deputies are encouraging the public to call or send a Facebook message with any tips regarding Rowland’s possible whereabouts. The Sheriff’s Office number is 225-8470.
