Missing man found dead in Marinette County

ATHELSTANE, WI-- A missing Dickinson County man has been found dead in Wisconsin.

WLUC-TV reports the body of Daniel Oberdorfer, 62, was found Monday around 2 p.m. in the town of Athelstane. It was located near his truck on private property near Davis Road.

The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the matter. Officials say foul play is not suspected.

Oberdorfer was last seen December 8 in the Norway area.
