UPDATE: Missing Escanaba man, vehicle found in Ford River Township

UPDATE: After notification of next to kin, Escanaba Public Safety regrets to inform the public that the discovery of Gregory Dennis was unfavorable for finding him safe.  

Out of respect for the Gregory Dennis family, there are no further details to be released and the investigation has concluded.

ESCANABA, MI--   Escanaba Public Safety officers say the search for a missing man is concluded.

Gregory Dennis, 51, was reported missing December 21 by his family.

Police say Dennis and his vehicle were found Friday in Ford River Township in southern Delta County.

Officers thank the public for information provided.

Public Safety was assisted by the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, MSP K-9, Delta County Search and Rescue, Escanaba Public Safety K-9, Michigan Civil Air Patrol, and Rampart EMS.

No other information will be released at this time.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
