MARQUETTE, MI-- A number of Upper Peninsula road projects will begin over the next few weeks.
The Michigan Department of Transportation says it will resurface about 16 miles of US-2 near Engadine starting Monday. Also Monday MDOT will start relocating 1.4 miles of US-2 west of the Cut River Bridge because of sinkholes.
About 12 miles of M-69 near Sagola will be milled and resurfaced beginning May 4.
On Thursday a project to make improvements to the M-28 bridge over the Baltimore River near Bruce Crossing gets underway.
Approximately 5 miles of US-41/M-28 from the Marquette/Baraga County line to Three Lakes in Baraga County will be resurfaced starting April 30.
And on May 4 a project to resurface about 26 miles of M-26 and US-41 in Keweenaw County gets underway.
