Wisconsin boy dies from accident injuries

GROVER, WI--   A 5-year-old boy has died from injuries sustained in a Marinette County car crash. 

The accident happened Thursday night in Grover.  The Marinette County Sheriff’s Department says Cayla Lynn Graves, 21,was driving the vehicle in which 5-year-old Nathan Felter was a passenger.  She apparently pulled out from Kasal Lane onto US-41 and into the path of a pickup truck. 

Graves was pronounced dead at the scene.  Felter was taken to the hospital in critical condition.  He died Saturday morning. 

Officials say Felter was the son of Graves’ friend. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
