Neguanee teenager injured in car-bicycle accident

NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP, MI -

A Negaunee teenaged bicyclist is injured following a car-bicycle accident in Negaunee Township. State Police say the accident happened Tuesday around 9:12pm on County Road 492 between M-35 and ‘Forge’ Road. The bicyclist was westbound on County Road 492 when a vehiclae driven by a 20-year old Negaunee resident struck the bicycle from behind. The bicyclist was taken to Marquette General Hospital for treatment. Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Negaunee Township Fire Department.
