Four-wheeler crash claims life of L'Anse man

ARVON TOWNSHIP, MI--   A Baraga County man has been killed in an ATV accident.  

State Police from the L’Anse Detachment were dispatched Sunday to the single-vehicle crash in Arvon Township. 

Evidence indicated that an eastbound four-wheeler driven by Daryl Fish, 57, of L’Anse left the roadway and flipped.  Fish was not wearing a helmet and sustained a serious head injury.  He was later pronounced dead at the scene. 

The accident remains under investigation. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
